Rule check
- Pass: Size 285 × 50 mm
- Pass: Letters and digits 21.2 mm tall (20 mm minimum)
- Pass: Black text on white
- Pass: No extra text or designs

BRTA's new rule: the motorcycle front number plate
BRTA's public notice of 16 October 2026 says every motorcycle must carry a front number plate, made by the owner. The plate must be:
